One Piece 1104 Image cover for One Piece that I describe with the little cute mice!!

Ohhh what can I say about this chapter!!
It was so well done! Exciting! Emotional!
Ahhh!!!

Really, if you aren't reading One Piece every week, you're just missing out.
And you really shouldn't keep reading this, I am going deep into spoilers here!

This chapter was just so filled with good stuff, I'm having trouble deciding where to focus!
I guess I'll quickly mention the adorable chapter title page before getting to the meat.
I really liked this one, it's a super cute drawing of Sanji delivering a dessert to a newly engaged rat couple at a restaurant.
The chapter title pages are such a cool part of One Piece that you only get in the manga, and I don't see people talk about them enough.

Alright so last chapter we left off with Kuma showing up to defend Bonney, and look so cool while doing it!
There's some flash backs showing as he winds up a punch at St. Saturn, and it's very cool and emotional.
St. Saturn reveals that he pressed Kuma's "self destruct switch" and promptly gets the most satisfying punch to the face.

The lining for the art on the impact is super sketchy, and so god damn delicious to see! Kuma going for a punch
St. Saturn gets punched so hard that he flies through buildings!! Ahh, so cool!!

As everyone is scrambling seeing this, while Vegapunk sits in absolute disbelief, and even happiness.
He thinks about how he never put in a self destruct, but rather a total shutdown switch.
This moment is so good! Realizing that Kuma should be vegetative, but is so kind and caring and human that he still has the capacity to save and hug Bonney after all this time...

Kuma hugs Bonney as she tells him about how she loves him.

It's beautiful.
It's an incredible moment, and it's so well done.
Oda knocked it out of the park with this one.

I also really love Sanji actually doing something!
Him kicking St. Saturn away from Kuma and Bonney, followed up by Franky just straight lasering St. Saturn...
Dope stuff here.
Like, really. Franky just shoots a whole through St. Saturns entire torso.

And Kizaru is back in action, he's such a cool villain.
I cannot wait to see how this arc is going to end.
I never expected to love this arc as much as I have, and I really want more!!

Sakamoto Days 151

Whoa! This chapter was really good!
Suzuki, the author of this manga, has really been just knocking it out of the park lately.
Last week started this fight, and the entire chapter is a really well coreographed continuation.
There's a really cool moment where Nagumo, while falling, hits a plane on its wing. This makes the plane twist and smack Gaku with the other wing.
It looked so cool!

The scene where Nagumo, while falling, hits a plane on its wing, making the plane twist and smack Gaku with the other wing. I typed this out, so you better appreciate it.

Really, this entire arc seems like it was made just to let Suzuki show off cool fights in really unique sets, and so many of these sets have been utilized in such dope ways.
It also showcased the differences in these two fighters so well,
The one inch punch Gaku does and the gamer visualizations are really cool. Simple, but cool.

And Nagumo had the quips alongside his constant change in his weapon form.
I really can't get over how simple an idea Nagumo's swiss army weapon is.
Really, it's versatile and just fits his character perfectly.

Great chapter, and a great hook to get me excited for next week.

Akane-banashi 94
Color page for Akane-banashi

Oh my goodness. What a chapter!!
I said it last week, and I'm sure I'll say it more!!
Akane-banashi is so good!!

Cool man saying something like 'the adults will take care of it!!' or something, I don't remember

I really loved how well this chapter set up the upcoming event.
The way it starts off serious and goes in to talk about the background politics, and then tease Akane's new rakugo...
The chapter was a lot of talking and a lot of important movements.
The reader definitely understood how important this event was for Akane, but it also shows us even deeper and explains just how major this event is going to be.

The politics are really interesting to me, especially considering that it's really all behind the scenes, with the students almost not in the know.
All while also showcasing that Akane might be leveling up in her own cool way!
And her dad! He's going to see her rakugo performance! Ah, so exciting to see!
The next few chapters are going to be so wild, I can just feel it.

I am genuinely so excited to read more.

Jujutsu Kaisen 248

This chapter was really interesting to me!
It was not the direction I was expecting at all, but that's good.
Higuruma is definitely dead.
Super.
Which sucks, but we knew that last week, haha.
I'll miss you, Higuruma...

Anyway, uses Higuruma's ability to get rid of Sukuna's super death tool of lightning.
Then Sukuna beats the hell out of him.
Like, what else would happen, haha.

Sukuna getting ready to destroy it all

Ui Ui and Hoshi showed up and took Higuruma's body, which gave some time for Itadori to heal.
This is a really nice moment, because Itadori's grown so much that he can use Reversed Cursed Technique all on his own.
I like that, it's genuinely cool to see him grow and even gain acknowledgment from Sukuna.

A huge part of this chapter is a deep introspection by Sukuna about how he feels.
Not joking, that's really a huge part of this chapter!
And it's cool! You get to see him talk about understanding himself and, more importantly, Itadori.
The fact that Itadori and him spent time together actually is acknowledged is interesting.
Clearly not anything positive, but there is meaning here.
I like this, it's a cool way to showcase why Sukuna is about to do what he's planning.

It's upfront, and a neat insight to Sukuna himself.

Then, Sukuna takes up Kenny's plan.
It's so intimidating. Like, even the characters say what I was thinking.
If Kenny lost, they couldn't deal with Sukuna sure, but that didn't mean outright extinction.
Now Sukuna is annoyed and ready to actually follow up Kenny's plan? Scary.

Oh and our boy Okkotsu shows up!
I'm not ready for this!
I don't want to see him die!!

I'm really looking forward to the next chapter.

Undead Unluck 191
Lead Color Page for Undead Unluck's 4 year anniversary
The coolest Andy has ever looked

Wow, I really wasn't expecting this one!
Undead Unluck is normally a pretty good manga...
And this chapter was so much better than just pretty good.
Andy not only being on the sun, but literally holding off every rule in a 10v1??
Insane!

The fight is well done too!!
The blast between Andy and Rule 1 was just so exciting!
Also the scene where Andy is puppeting his own body while holding almost all the rules back with soul chains!
Just wicked sick.

The last page also looks so dope! Andy smiling is such a good panel!!!
Ah, good chapter, and I really want to see the next.
Not much else to say, it was a really cool concise chapter.

Mission: Yozakura Family 210 Cat person

Wow, so last chapter actually was top ranking by surveys.
Looking back, it was pretty good.
I like the current team dynamic, and even moreso this chapter.

Hifumi has really grown on me.
When she's not with Alpha, she's got a really funny and interesting dynamic with the world.
Also the villain of the chapter being a skiddish cat that can't even do anything the whole time is really funny.

I liked this chapter a lot!
It was funny, it uses the characters it has really well, and sets up an interesting next chapter.

I like how Hifumi just like... does her own thing. Lava coming down. Can you tell I'm tired of writing this??
She's a literal child, but smart and strong enough to just go "no. I want it my way today."
Which sounds annoying, but it's presented well enough that it's not a tantrum, it's her instinct.
I like it.
I also really like it when it's going against Futaba, because that's gold.

This chapter was the right balance of serious and goofy, a really tough line to walk.
I really hope it stays this good next week!

Kagurabachi 17 Kagurabachi and the enemy, that's their names yep, fighting and a table with dango and tea on the left

So this chapter was experimental.
And I liked that a lot.
It showcases the fight, but cuts in between with the two talking while eating dango and drinking tea.
It's a really cool way to do a "talk with their fists" kind of thing.

I also loved what they were talking about.
The goofiness of the villain realizing the guy in front of him is the son of his hero, so of course he knows a lot about him that he wants to know, was great.
The conversation is definitely not what I was expecting, with Chihiro actually understanding the villain and his motives.
You normally only see these moments after the fight, not during.

And the actual fight itself is really well done.
There's a timer showing you how quick everything is in real time.
It's a really interesting way to give emphasis on the speed of the fight.
I know this fight was done in a specific way to make the coolest anime episode of whatever season this gets animated in.
It just exudes the "this would be so cool animated" energy.

Good chapter, looking forward to next weeks.

Witch Watch 140

Unlike last week's mediocre chapter, this one was actually really good.
I like Miharu's gang of friends, and I really like how they showcased them today.
Starting off with a simple hook, the robot anime girl Nico likes, was a nice way to get Fran in the scene.
And the talk about insecurities was really nice and well done.
My biggest insecurity is also my teeth, like Miharu, but for completely different reasons, haha!
My second biggest is also how my hair defaults after brushing! Close to home, but these are normal relateable things.

When they get to Fran's, I was kind of worried she would just run away the whole chapter.
Her disconnect with how the robot, even though it's modeled after her, is just an object was also pretty funny.
And then Fran actually shows! And she immediately acts shy and embarrassed when they stare at her, making the previous scene with the robot showing the back even funnier! Fran bein' shy and cute and angry

This was a really nice chapter.
It talked about how it can be nice to accept the odd things that make you who you are,
But! It also talked about how there is nothing wrong with changing things you don't like about yourself!
It's a really good moral that I think was showcased in a unique way.
People are allowed to let themselves align with their own preferred image.
It's important to let yourself be happy, but also accepting your flaws can be important too.
Neither Rui or Miharu were wrong, they both had important lessons that can be balanced properly.

It's always nice when a series that is known for jokes can tackle a serious subject like this.
I liked it, it gets a Samb seal of approval and I will think about this chapter down the line.

Kill Blue 37
Color page for Kill Blue

This was a decent chapter.
I liked it more than I thought I was going to honestly,
It could have gone in a lot of directions, but I'm glad it went this way.

Noren and Otherhime have a discussion, and during it Noren asks if Otherhime is going to just leave Ogami if she finds someone else.
Otherhime is genuinely hurt by this question, and that's neat.
I'm glad she wasn't superficially just going on a whim.
Not that I thought she was, Otohime seems nice as heck, but ya never know.

Otherhime being crushed by Ogami's words

Being questioned leads to her trying to re-assure Ogami that her feelings are real,
and Ogami hits her with a very serious, "I never doubted your feelings."
It's really a good page, and Otherhime's reaction to him talking so seriously is really well done.
You can see her realizing it might be a real rejection for the first time ever.

There's also a really funny moment where Noren yells something super awkwardly again about Ogami being her man.
It gave me a good laugh!

Otherhime is discouraged, letting Ogami score some good points, because they're still in a surfing contest for Ogami.
Noren doesn't like that Otherhime is just giving up, spurs her on, and...
Yeah, it's kind of a normal direction for this kind of story.

Still, I liked this chapter. It was funny, a little serious, and overall enjoyable.
I just want to see more about the regular Otohime.

Me & Roboco 169 Dr. Mockus Age 11

And back in good form!
I liked this Roboco chapter actually!
I really barely remember these two characters. Turns out they're from like chapter 8!

Showing Dr. Mockus with a mustache and a box saying "Age 11" killed me.

It made me double take, I had forgotten how funny that gag was.
What a stupid joke, making almost all of the adult side characters all the same age of like 20 is so stupid good.

Not the best chapter ever, but it made me actually like this Kanio dude. Kanio saying only he will beat Roboco, because he loooves her
His suave demeanor when he's not in the crab costume is a nice touch.
Contrasting that with his ambitions to beat Roboco in his crab outfit was funny.
I doubt there will be much more with these two, but it made for a perfectly "Jump" chapter.

OKAY. When I finished writing this, I went and read Ch. 165, and forgot Dr. Mockus is actually 19!!
That's such a good joke! What the heck!

Nue's Exorcist 34 Gakuro's sister losing her cool

Gotta say, I didn't care for this series for like 30 chapters, but
It's really starting to warm up for me!
This chapter was really good actually.

So Gakuro and his sister start their attempt to save their friends.
This is achieved by utilizing the tengu's powers, hiding their presence.
As you would expect from Gakuro, this immediately goes wrong.

Actually, it's not Gakuro that messes this one up.
It's his sister. The calm, strong, level-headed sister.

As they are stumbling past a Level 3, the tengu mentions that this one just mentions names of ones that it has killed.
And it says their dad's name.
Which, as might be remembered if you're smarter than me, means this one monster is her literal entire reason for being.
She is angry and wants revenge, which she thought was impossible until now.
Gakuro, actually being useful, tries to stop her with logic, but she snaps and attacks, ruining the whole plan haha.

I liked this sequence actually.
It was nice to see Gakuro not be the problem, and also it really makes me like Shitotsu more.
She has been my favorite character since she was added, and this cements it for the moment.
I mean, the other girls are fine, but they're kind of forgettable?
Shitotsu has a solid simple design and a stand out personality, while being strong enough to really help the team.
And this is the first time we've seen her genuinely struggle with her normal facade.
Also, I think this is going to lead to something really dope.
We'll see, I guess! Next chapter!

Blue Box 133 Chinatsu alone on the court in agony from an injury

Oh wow... This chapter was not what I was expecting.
So it's a continuation of the Eimei-Saisho game, and immediately it felt darker in tone.
Something serious was clearly about to happen, and on like page four or so, Chinatsu collides with other players.
An accident on the court leads to Chinatsu being hurt, but she keeps playing until a really cool scene of her unable to move on the court.

Maybe I'll change my mind, but I don't think I liked the pacing of the chapter.
Maybe that was intentional, accidents are like that after all.
You see the moment and time seems to stop and also pass you by at the same time.

And so, Yumeka's team wins by three points.
I really like sports, the passion, the timing of it all, the absolute crush that comes from losing when you were so close...
This chapter definitely feels like it is going to try to showcase that.
After all, this was Chinatsu's last year to compete for high school, and she justgot to play with Yumeka again.
Now she might not ever play again.

I just don't like the end really, having Yumeka scream about how unfair it is when we literally don't know how bad it is was a little weird.
Gotta say though, great hook for next chapter.

Shadow Eliminators 6

This chapter gives off very chapter 6 vibes.
Not that it's bad!

The squad goes on a (surprise?) school trip to a botanical garden. Girl touching Asakaze's back and him in agony

I say squad, because the girl from the previous kasane elimination is here too, and I guess a part of the group now.
We get to see more of the training from the previous chapter.
The grandma is actually a really cool character to me.
Her design is simple, her mentor personality is neat. It's just like... simple, but effective.

Anyway, we get some worldbuilding information about kasane, but it's brief.
Instead, we focus on Kuromori and... the girl, whose name escapes me, goof around.

I actually really like it, in one page you see the difference between the MCs.

The goofiness is interrupted by a heartbroken man becoming a kasane.
This dude gets dumped via text and his kasane design is like a floating bull head?
It's a simple easy way to get people into action, bleach like even.

The reason I say it's very chapter 6 is because a rival eliminator shows up.
And he seems to not like Kuromori too much, which isn't surprising.
The earlier chapters mention that he's shunned by the eliminator society.

Girl and Kuromori looking guilty as they eat popcorn

And that's the whole chapter!
It was a simple, "yeah sure, this needs to happen," kind of chapter.
Not bad, not great.
The real highlight for me was all of the goofing off panels.
It makes me hope the girl becomes a mainstay alongside them, she works well with both MCs at the moment.
I really wish there was more to talk about, but it was a decently straightforward chapter 6.

The Elusive Samurai 141

Okay, so I read this chapter like... two hours ago?
And I can't really remember it too well, haha.
That's pretty much most of this series for me.

Yuki using his shichishitou to just straight look insane on a helpless soldier

I'm refreshing my memory as I write this now, and it was an alright chapter.
A lot of this series is talking about people.
People in the main group, people in the army, people in the enemy army.
People change sides, people die, people see each other again.
It's a really interesting series because of that. It uses Matsui's skills so well.
You can tell that he really likes designing characters! It's a defining feature of his manga!
That's just not for me really, haha!

This chapter was definitely focused on people again.
I really like how actual historical figures are used in this story though.
In this chapter, a character named Utsunomiya Kintsuna shows up, and he looks wildly intimidating.
They talk about his feats, how people fear and revere him.
Then we find out that it's just a gag, and while he is a real historical figure, he had no noteworthy feats in actual combat recorded.
Pretty funny! I like the historical elements to this manga a lot, it's my favorite part actually.

There was also a decently funny focus on Yuki, this character with tiny eyes that looks unsuspectingly nice.
Joke being that he's a sadist, and they show him using a Shichishitou, or a seven branched sword, to brutally murder a man.
I liked this joke, and I liked them realizing that he's so weird that you only see the whites of his eyes because he's always got them rolled into the back of their head.

The chapter ends with a cool page set up showing the next villain, who is so strong that he is holding back an army of 40,000 with just 1,000 soldiers.
I say it's a cool page because the guy is so god dang big he's riding two horses. Two horses!
Sure, I'll read the next chapter.
You got me.
I'm interested in seeing him, even though I know it won't be that cool when I really read it.

Martial Master Asumi 29

It really sucks that this series is doing so poorly on the surveys...
Because this chapter was really neat.
I was originally worried that this fight was going to be lame...
And I was really wrong.
It's a really interesting fight, they use so many cool elements of modern sports.

Nito being caught in a single leg take down. Apparently.

Nito just gets really destroyed the whole fight!
Because his opponent has studied his fights, he predicts everything Nito is going to do and just demolishes him.
It's cool to see a manga showcase the importance of VOD reviewing. I don't think I've seen that yet.
There's also something relatable about being read like a book and getting destroyed for it.
Lord knows my Yoshi has been treated the same way, haha.

It ends with a flashback of Nito finally deciding to watch some videos of his brother's MMA fights.
Which is super cool, it's a nice easy way to level up the MC with a different fighting style.

I still don't like how the opponent shaved his head, but that really is a minor gripe, haha.
I'll look forward to the next chapter, and I really hope if this series gets axed that it moves to Jump+ or something.
It's not Jump material, but I think it's a unique manga.

My Hero Academia 412

I was mildly entertained with this one.
I still don't like this final fight, but this chapter felt very American Comic, if that makes sense.
It's insane to me that Deku still wants to "save this crying child," like it's just some tantrum,
BUT I get it more now.

Seeing Shimura tell Deku to just go for the kill, and him going "no I want to be hero" and it just clicked for me.
This is like the whole "why doesn't Batman just kill the Joker" thing, but I don't like the set up. Deku being lame
The reason this doesn't click for me is because, unlike Batman, Deku has basically everyone pleading him to just save them from a walking apocalypse.
The only feasible way to do that right now is by just killing the dude!

And it's almost believable why Deku won't just do it, because there is all this symbolic imagery showing that Tomura can still be helped.
BUT THAT DOESN'T REALLY HAPPEN! It's all just a cool way to show us his ideas!
It's not like anyone actually sees the big lid that Deku is talking about!

The fight itself was actually cool though!
It has super cool attacks, a really cool shot with Fuji again, and seeing other OFA users like Shimura and All Might show up like Ghost Obi-Wan was nice!
It really wasn't a bad chapter. In fact, I kind of liked it.
I feel like it reminded me of why this comic was interesting in the first place, which is nice for a climactic fight.
I just want it to wrap up sooner, haha. That's just me though.

MamaYuYu 18

Noooo.
It's grasping so hard to live!!
I love the new girl, she's adorable and really surprisingly furry?? dumb furry girl, she cute tho
I can't name many digitigrade legged party members, let alone one also a part of the harem.
It's a neat design that stands out.
Also she's dumb and lonely and I like dumb characters, haha.

But it's obvious the author is just making this into a harem as a last ditch effort to survive.
This series is consistently bottoming the surveys, and I get why...

Despite that though, I liked this chapter still.
Well, it wasn't bad at least.
Nothing super happens, but the MC accidentally leads on another girl.
Buuut, he uses his power in a cool way. He pulls a Sukuna on a small scale and makes a dicing net for an attack.

The series is clearly wrapping though, even the end shows Grisha trying to revive a "mother sigil" by reviving Hero Evan.
Ah, such is life.
Not much else to talk about this chapter.

Two on Ice 16

Wow! So I thought I wasn't a huge fan last week, but
This week made me even more worried.

This author just really loves their Christian theming, don't they? This is the freaky God Skater saying something about Adam and Eve, but who really cares?

So in this weeks chapter, titled "Baptism," the MC interacts with mister God skater.
I'm just going to keep calling him God Skater, I don't want to learn his name honestly.
Sorry for that.
So God Skater acts as you would expect.
Disgusting.
Abhorent.
Intimidating.
Almost insane!

This leads to Hayuma getting so scared and intimidated that he can't skate with Kisara for the day.
And then he asks a friend to treat him as the girl in pair skating, so he can learn the fear of being thrown or something.
Even more weird, that friend gets upset?? With a loose explanation that "oh he doesn't like things that put others in danger."
Why not explain why this applies then??
Is trying out the other side of skating that dangerous??
No one reading this is an ice skating pro. We're just as confused as Hayuma!
Maybe that was intentional...?

Oh and God Skater just has a small monologue where even his manager is like, "dude what"

That's the whole chapter, pretty much.
I didn't care for it, but not all chapters can be winners.
I just wish they would have done this kind of arc a couple chapters later.
It's one thing to introduce a foil, but to make them so unlikeable and uninteresting is wild.
They could have done other things to make us excited first at the least.
Oh well! We'll see how this pans out.

Green Green Greens 7 WOW THIS IS PLOT MOVING AT RECORD SPEEDZ!!

Okay, yeah, this series is definitely not for me so far.
I really like sports stuff, but golf is just... hard to work in a manga.
The reason Haikyuu or Kuroko were so successful was that they were team manga.
I don't see it working out without creating some kind of focus on a team.

I'll use Prince of Tennis as an example. Tennis is also a solo sport, right?
If it was all about Ryoma, it wouldn't be 1/6th as interesting.
The team was full of other characters that were cool, unique, and had their own passions.
More importantly, they grew and fell with the MC, because they are a team!
And yet, here we are. It's all been the growth of the MC and a little about the girl that inspired him to play.

Even worse! Now she's being invited to America!

The inclusion of all these actual American schools was incredibly comical to me too!
Like, oh wow yeah University of Alabama. Mmhmm, yep, Stanford! Oh cool, UT Austin, that's semi-local to me!
Then they hit you with the fake one, Saint Beyond College
Are you serious?? It's so funny and fake compared to the others!
Three of the 4 real universities were named after states, and Stanford is a city!
They were all places!
Saint Beyond College is just so hilariously fake to me, it had me laughing.
I mean that in a good way too!

Genuinely, I want to see the next chapter.
I don't think she's going to take him up, but I think that would be a good option honestly.
It might force the MC to try and join an actual team,
but I think she's going to put it off for a while and then we'll get 7 chapters at this upcoming novice tournament.

Cipher Academy

I still haven't caught up! Haha, sorry for that.

'Tis Time For "Torture," Princess Special Oneshot (216.5)
Color Page for Tis Time For Torture Princess
Look at this doll.

So a little of preamble to this.
"'Tis Time For "Torture," Princess" is the work of two people.
Written by Robinson Haruhara and illustrated by Hirakei, the manga is published in Shueisha's web manga service, Jump+.
This is really interesting, I can't remember there being a oneshot in WSJ for a manga published in Jump+ before.

Anyway, let's talk premise.
Main character Hime-sama/Princess was a captured by her kingdom's enemy, the demons.
Upon being captured, she was subjected to torture to divulge her kingdom's secrets.
Her torturer, well named Torture Tortura, subjects Princess to... the most heinous torture.
Examples like grilling good food next to Princess, and not letting her have any until she yaps up info.
Seriously.
It's actually really funny and simple.

The premise doesn't change too much from the small bit I read, some 20 chapters or so last year.
The Princess also has her companion, her sword Excalibur.
Excalibur, shortened to Ex in the story, plays the straight man.
Ex really believes in the Princess, and he'll talk about how she'll never give in just for the Princess will give in to literally any "torture."
I think one time she gave up info just to play Smash with Torture??
Luckily, the information she gives is useless info that has no strategic importance.

Torture Being Comfy and Relatable

It's a really funny and cute series, and the anime just started!
That's the reason they're doing this oneshot, I think.
To promote the new anime.

Now, the oneshot itself is almost void of Princess the whole chapter.
Instead, it focuses on Torture herself.
It's a really cute chapter, honestly.
Torture ordered something new to torture the Princess with, but accidentally shipped it to her parents house.

She's spending time at her parents waiting for the package when she runs into the normal issue of getting too comfy under the parents kotatsu.
She falls asleep and her mom finds the package in her room.
Apparently her mom thought it was a package for herself. This is Part 1 of a relatable moment of Torture being active in a dream and slamming into something in real life
The mom tries to wake Torture, but Torture is so comfy she doesn't want to move.
Then she thinks about Princess. And her cute as hell face she made when Torture promised her tomorrow would be the day she uses whats in the package.
She feels extreme guilt about almost putting it off when Princess was so excited.
This spurs Torture to rush back, she has expectations to meet after all!

That's genuinely the entire plot for the chapter.
And it was so god dang cute.
Really, I was smiling and chuckling the whole time.
It's a nice way to sell you into the series without being just another chapter.
And, apparently this is leading into the next chapter, so you'll get to see what was in the package.

This is Part 2 of a relatable moment of Torture being active in a dream and slamming into something in real life

It's so interesting how well the authors can make you enjoy the dumbest jokes.
The art is a huge part of that, because when you see the Princess' silly excited face it's hard to not smile.

And the writing is great too. The jokes are so dumb and obvious, but they still make you laugh.
That's a really hard line to balance, honestly.

Really, this series is well written and drawn.
If you haven't read it before, you should.
It's free on Manga+, available on PC and on app stores.
It has 217 chapters at the time of writing this.
The oneshot is published there and not in the Weekly Shonen Jump app for some reason?
I'm assuming that's just licensing issues in the west though.
